OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH

Here at G6:9 Foundations, we believe:

• there is only one God who eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

• the Bible to be the only inspired, trustworthy and true, without error, Word of God.

• there is only one way to be saved (eternal life), and that way is to confess with our mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9).

• that God so love the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in the Son, will have eternal life (John 3:16).

• that God did not send His Son to condemn the world but that through Him the world will be saved (John 3:17).

• we do not have to do anything to earn the love of God, For by grace we have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast (Ephesians 2:8-9).

• once we are saved, we have the Holy Spirit as a seal for our eternal life and the Holy Spirit lives within and guides those who are saved so they are enabled to live godly lives (Ephesians 1:13).

• nothing can separate us from the love of God (Romans 8:38-39).

• that anyone who is saved is not judged, but anyone who does not believe in the Son of God has already been judged because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God (John 3:18).

• that our life will reflect Christ, showing compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, patience and forgiveness (Matthew 5:14-16; Colossians 3:12-17).
