The Cougars also took home nearly all of the individual awards, as Bawa was named the conference Player of the Year; Lozano won Defender of the Year; junior Brendan Fix was named Goalkeeper of the Year; freshman forward Daniel Osei-tutu earned Freshman of the Year honors; and David Blomquist took home the PacWest Coach of the Year award for the second consecutive time and third overall.

Azusa Pacific finished the regular season at 18-0, earning the top seed in Super Region 4 and with it, the right to play at home in the NCAA tournament through the fourth round. After a first-round bye, the Cougars will open their postseason run on Saturday night at 6:00 p.m. at the Cougar Soccer Complex against the winner of Thursday's first-round game between Colorado School of Mines and Texas A&M International.
