Ghanian Isaac Bawa named Defender of the Year

Bawa served as the anchor for the Cougar defense throughout the season, starting in 17 games. In 10 of the 17 games Bawa played, Azusa Pacific held its opponent to one goal.

Isaac Bawa earned PacWest Defender of the year, the native of Ghana, who attended the free showcase set up by Phoenix Academy and G6:9 Foundations has taken his opportunity with both hands and become an exceptional player in college soccer.
